Indiana CTSI Annual Meeting to Celebrate 10 Years, Focus on Gene Therapy Research
Faculty and staff researchers, students and the public are invited to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI) at its 2018 Annual Meeting on Friday, September 14, at Hine Hall on the IUPUI campus in Indianapolis.

Founded in 2008, the Indiana CTSI brings together the state’s brightest minds to solve Indiana’s most pressing health challenges through research. CTSI Kicks Off Summer Research Program for Area High School Students

Summer is here and that means we again welcome central Indiana high school students to research labs in Indianapolis for the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute’s (CTSI) Project STEM summer research program, which includes Indianapolis Project STEM, Indianapolis Project SEED and the Future Scientists Program.

Training Opportunity: New Tool for Understanding ‘Omics Data
The Indiana CTSI has made available a shared license for QIAGEN’s Ingenuity Pathway Analysis (IPA), a powerful analysis and search tool that uncovers the significance of ‘omics data and identifies new targets or candidate biomarkers within the context of biological systems. With its many features, IPA allows you to quickly understand and visualize your data.
IU, Purdue and Notre Dame researchers can purchase sub-licenses to use this product. The new licensing period is from July 1, 2018, to June 30, 2019.

IU to Host Commercialization, Entrepreneurship Summit for Female, Minority Researchers
Are you interested in commercializing your scientific discoveries or inventions and networking with female and underrepresented researchers?

Applications sought for summer undergraduate research interns
The Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute is accepting applications for summer interns as part of its undergraduate clinical and translational research program, which provides undergraduate students with the opportunity to work with Indiana CTSI mentors on projects designed to increase their awareness of and interest in translational research.
The program is geared toward students who are keenly interested in research.
