3D Bioprinting Core Gains CTSI Designation, NIH Funding
The 3D Bioprinting Core at IUPUI and IU School of Medicine recently received two major boosts: Indiana CTSI core designation and funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to cover the cost of its main bioprinting instrument.

Indiana CTSI-designated cores have demonstrated quality oversight, users that span departments and schools, processes to monitor user satisfaction and established policies for publication and confidentiality. The designation also allows investigators to apply to the core for Indiana CTSI pilot grant funding for their research.
