Translational Technologies and Resources Program

The Translational Technologies and Resources (TTR) Program will transform research throughout Indiana by moving from a reactive to a proactive group of core support facilities that are highly integrated within the Indiana CTSI. Furthermore, the TTR will transform the research environment at Indiana University (IU) and Purdue University by linking the clinically focused core programs at IU with the outstanding resources available at Purdue, including its renowned veterinary, nanotechnology, and biomedical engineering facilities. The TTR will: 1) actively participate in the CTSI Project Development Teams to help identify projects in which novel technologies can provide added value; 2) facilitate access to novel resources for translational research projects; and 3) provide education to CTSI investigators about novel technologies. Through the integrated TTR Program, we will create a unique statewide resource that can be extended to provide services to other CTSAs around the country.
