Regulatory Knowledge Support Program

The Regulatory Knowledge and Support Program will play a transformative role in guiding clinical and translational research in Indiana by building a resource that will provide all Indiana Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) investigators, trainees, and others with timely, accurate, and hands-on support for maneuvering through the often complex tapestry of federal, state, and local regulations. It also will streamline the process of protocol submission and review, designing a centralized Institutional Review Board mechanism for all CTSI projects. These two initiatives, which will be closely integrated with other Programs of the Indiana CTSI (Bioethics, Patient and Clinical Interaction Resources, Training), will enhance the way researchers understand and implement their ethical and legal responsibilities to comply with applicable regulations.
