Researchers at Indiana University School of Medicine are researching a nasal treatment for COVID-19. We are looking for people with a recent onset of mild COVID-19 symptoms and a positive COVID-19 test in the last few days to come for a 2 hour visit at Riley Hospital for Children to help us test this new treatment.  For COVID-19 to thrive in your respiratory system, it needs an acidic pH. We are investigating a treatment that brings the respiratory system’s pH from being acidic back to the right level in order to reduce the severity of COVID-19.
